Summary Description

Flex Fleet Rental is a Salt Lake City-based light and medium duty truck rental company that services the lower 48 states.  We are looking for a customer service-oriented individual who is motivated, organized, a self-starter, and works well in a team environment. Flex Fleet Rental is constantly growing, and we are looking for someone who will thrive in a changing environment with many opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in an office/customer service environment
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent at time management
  • Team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Can perform well in a high stress environment
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must have the ability to quickly learn internal software

Job Duties:

  • Assist sales representatives with various sales tasks
  • Manage accounts by providing excellent customer services
  • Process orders from clients
  • Process returns from clients
  • Set up new accounts
  • Maintain accounts by updating insurance, credit limits, etc.
  • Answer all inbound phone calls
  • Run various reports for sales team and managers
  • Assist customers with problems
  • Register vehicles
  • Communicate with other departments to update clients on transportation, payment status, damages, GPS, plates, etc.

Working Conditions:

Position is in an office environment (work from home during the pandemic) and requires the individual to be able to sit at a workstation for 8 hours per day.  Position also requires standing, walking around the office and carrying/lifting items up to 20 pounds.

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative will report to the Director of Sales and will be responsible for all inside sales leads. These leads include website leads, inbound calls, and managing all house accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing relationships with existing customer base
  • Grow customer base by closing new accounts each month
  • Take all inbound sales calls and web forms

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent writing skills in English
  • Customer service experience (1 year)
  • Sales experience (1 year)
  • Good organizational and time-management skills

Job Summary

This is a part-time position. The Marketing Assistant will report to the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for content creation and updates (on the website, in email campaigns, on social media, in sales materials), email marketing, social media marketing, and some market research among other sales and marketing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain company content in digital and print form
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify most relevant and desired content
  • Plan and produce website content based on SEO best practices
  • Develop and follow an editorial calendar
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms
  • Conduct market research by making phone calls and analyzing market data

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Excellent writing skills in English
  • Experience with content creation (1 year)
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic technical knowledge of web publishing
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Familiarity with social media (1 year)

Operations Manager

 

Flex Fleet Rental is looking for a talented National Fleet/Operations Manager to join its high growth truck rental business. The Operations manager will have primary oversight of the rental fleet and assist in maximizing ROI by achieving targeted utilization rates. The fleet consists primarily of light to medium duty pickups, flatbeds and passenger vans. This position will be based in the corporate office in Salt Lake City, UT.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Develop an optimization framework and best practices in fleet management
  • Establish best in class reporting for fleet and fleet metrics
  • Ensure available fleet is in “rent ready” condition
  • Manage existing vendors for accountability and develop new vendor/dealer relationships
  • Identify and grow new delivery locations/dealers
  • Identify and manage KPI’s for fleet
  • Negotiate key agreements with vendors with a view of establishing best in class pricing for services performed
  • Manage PDI (pre delivery inspection) process with vendors
  • Manage staff responsible for plating and registering of vehicles
  • Manage staff responsible for vehicle repairs, recall and warranty situations with customers
  • Manage staff responsible for transportation of vehicles
  • Prepare reports for management
  • Ensure all quotes, sales agreements, and documentation is completed in a timely manner
  • Represent Flex Fleet Rental in a professional manner

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5+ yrs experience in fleet management
  • Experience in dealing with Adesa/Manheim auctions
  • Attention to detail is a must team oriented and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Results oriented and driven in achieving results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a part of a team
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Microsoft Suite (2+ years), Dynamics Navision/SmartSheets familiarity considered a plus

  • A current valid driver’s license
  • This position may require up to 25% travel
